-Due to constant price increases and availability we no longer offer our old style wood frames with the powder coat finish, however our new frames will be hard to tell the difference from the old frames while hanging on your wall.

These Graded Comic Book Frames are specifically designed to fit any Standard Sized(.5"-.6") CGC/CBCS/PGXSlabs, they are not designed to fit the thicker(.75") cases used for Giant Size, King Size, most Golden Age and Annual comic books. If you have a graded comic book in a thick slab, like a Giant Size X-Men #1, check out our Graded Golden Age Comic Book Frame designed to hold these slabs.
This is a one piece frame, meaning it not pieced together with glue, screws or nails like other frames, what does this mean for you?....DURABILITY!
Each frame is CNC machined for consistent accuracy and is cut from a sheet of solid black expanded PVC, a strong and rigid material with a smooth face.
The rear load design makes removal and switching your books simple and quick with soft neoprene rubber flaps in the back to hold your slab securely in the frame, while offering a little cushion for your slab as well!
An integrated keyhole slot routed into the back of the frame makes for a safe and secure hanging point from a simple screw or nail in your wall.
This is our Museum Edition Frame which means it comes with a 99% UV Safe** acrylic front! This sheet of acrylic that mounts in the frame in front of your slab and filters out 99% of the harmful UV rays from reaching and fading your comic book while on display, just a little added protection for your prized possessions!

***Damaging UV light is emitted most heavily from direct sunlight. Although much less, Incandescent and Fluorescent light bulbs will emit some damaging UV rays. Displaying or mounting your comic book, even with UV blocking acrylic, in direct sunlight is never recommended!

Happier with these frames than I expected to be!
I honestly prefer frames with UV glass but I can't really find any for CGC graded books. Used to be able to get them but can't anymore. So I tried these just based on the other positive reviews and low price, and the fact that I have no other good options. They are really well made. The construction is precise and the paint is well done. The plastic inserts are fine. Can't tell they aren't glass once they are on the wall and if they do get knocked down there's no glass to worry about so that's a plus. I'll be buying more of these!
